17 Jan 2010I was involved in an accident 4 months ago in California, and I was noted as at fault by the insurance company (turning left, and hitting a bike without reflectors). I have $50,000 in bodily injury. I own my home and my car is an old 1995 honda civic. My insurance company is asking if I allow my coverage information to be provided to the person’s attorney. Should I allow my coverage information to be provided?
This is about Auto Insurance Information.

Sounds like they are getting ready to take your house.

You’re better off that way than the parties Attorney suing you in a civil suit.Youre insurance should cover it. Depends on how much the injury was.

Might as well – if the attorney files a law suit against you he’s entitled to know that information any way. So he is going to find out any way. Why give him another reason to file a law suit against you.
** not legal advice — only an attorney can give legal advice — use at own risk **
