9 Mar 2010they saying my medical insurance should take care of the remaining amount because i had coverage only for $2500. should i ask the guy who created the accident to pay for it or his insurance? please let me know what to do if my medical insurance does not pay the remaining amount fully.

If the accident was the other guys fault contact his insurance company, they have coverage for BI or Bodily Injury. They have to pay out up to the state minimum.

I think the answer will depend on which state you live in, if it is no fault, and what the tort limits are. Depending on your answer you may not be able to recover anything other than what your insurance company pays you.
I wonder how many people who are always asking “what’s the cheapest insurance…?” ever read the posts like yours asking why won’t my insurance pay…

Sounds like you have only Medical Payment coverage on your policy and the limits of $2500 have been exhausted.
Yes, you can contact the other party’s insurance company and file a claim. I am a bit surprised they have not contacted you to date if their insured was at fault for the accident.
Anyway, call and let them know you have outstanding medical expenses. If they accept liability, they will reimburse you for these expenses.

If you already had health insurance they should help you cover some of the cost, your insurance company will only cover what it says in the contract.
