18 May 2010i had two car accident in the past 6 months and oddly i am under 24, first time driver. My insurance for the next session goes sky up and i couldn’t afforde it. My question is that will i get back to normal insurance fee if i stop driving a car now and back to driving sometimes later? how long should i stay away? (pls)

it depends on you insurance company. most will keep the fee high for awile, like years. Ya so don’t get into accidents.

you need a lot more practice, wow 2 in 6 months, no offense, you need to be taught by a person who cares about other people on the road. If I were you and your that sure, get 2 yrs older and try again, however it stays on record for life but can only be charged for it three years from the date of the accident.

It’ll take years with no accident for your insurance rate to go down. How many years, I don’t know. It’ll be a while though.

You don’t have to stop driving. It will take 3 years or more for your rates to decrease, though.
