Reason I’m asking is, my wife had 2 brain surgeries recently, and our bills have went severly past due. The insurance poilcy lapsed and I haven’t had auto insurance for about a month now. Well, the state of Ohio, sent me a letter stating I was randomly picked to show that I had proof of insurance on a specific previous date.
( PLEASE HELP!!!

No reputable insurance company will backdate a policy. That would be fraud.

Dont think thats legal.
Is there proof that you are actually driving? A car that is just sitting on blocks doesnt need insurance,

Regarding your solictation for Insurance fraud
If You find one,, Please be sure and report them to Your State Insurance Regulators as well as your local FBI office so that the agent and yourself can be prosecuted for Insurance Fraud to the fullest extent of the Law.
Insurance Fraud is a Felony offense on both the State and Federal Level.
20 years in a federal prison sounds like a fair sentence for you and the agent.

You will never find a company to do that…It would be insurance fraud at the least and against the law. Get real !

call your insurance company and see if they will REINSTATE your policy. there is a BIG difference in a reinstatement back to the date of lapse and writing a new policy. most of my companies will reinstate up to 30 days. if they will they will have you sign a statement of no loss and pay the premium owed. if you have to write a new policy NO agent will back date a policy.
