Is there a cheap auto insurance i can get while i have my learners permit?? everything is so catch 22?

Its like you have to have insurance to buy a car, but you have to have the car to take the drivers test. So im really confused, and i need to know if theres insurance for me while i have my learners permit?

No NO and you have to have insurance to get car on road. Where is Mother and Father.

depending on where you live you can sometimes rent cars for just the drivers test and tehy would provide the insurence for that…if you live in a big city you can often find these people at the dmv

If you are under 25, there is no such thing as “cheap” insurance. You can get different quotes from different companies, but the will all be pretty close. Good Hunting.

Have you tried USAgencies? I searched around and found that they are the cheapest where I’m from.

My daughter got her license 2 weeks ago. When she got her permit I called my insurance company (Progressive) and they added her as an “unrated” driver. It didn’t cost anything to add her on as a driver when she had her permit. When she received her license she became a “rated” driver and my insurance almost doubled.
I dropped Progressive and went to Response. I’m paying less now with my daughter added as a rated driver than I was without her on my Progressive policy.
