Recent car accident-insurance?

In: Cars Insurance

27 Apr 2010

I was recently in a car accident and I’m 16. Will they suspend my insurance or will they just increase the premium?
And the accident was my fault and it costed around 300 dollars to repair his car.
By the way, this is my first accident.
Okay I live in CT and yes, there was no bodily injury.

Only your insurance company knows the answer. I would guess they will not cancel you for just one claim though

Sounds like there was no bodily injury. They will probly not drop you for just one small claim.

It depends on what state your in. In CA if there is no bodily injury and damage is under $750 your rate does not get increased.

You might want to post your state.

A lot of insurance companies allow up to three minor bumps in any one year without penalty. You should have read the terms and conditions, but you can ask your insurance, some do put the next year premium up,good luck with it.
