when no auto insurance and property damage who picks the contractor?
27 Apr 2010We had a contractor do unauthorise work on our home why we were not there and no bid was submitted what is our legal rights as home owners., no money exchange hands and bill was in our mail box we had no contact with the man, this was due to an auto accident which the guy had no coverage, we spoke with the man and said to submit a bid but he did the work and said payed in full, whats the problem ?

I give up. What’s the problem? Was the work done? Was it done to standards, and fixed the problem? Did you have to pay for it? If your answers are yes, the work was done, properly, and it didn’t cost me anything, what IS the problem? Are you just mad because they fixed the problem, or mad because they didn’t ask your permission first?
